Adam Khoo

Adam Khoo is a successful entrepreneur, trader, investor, and educator. He studied business administration at NUS and was a bright student during his college days. His high academic achievements made him a pioneer in his universitys Talent Development Programme. At the very young age of 26, hebecame a millionaire. Recently, in 2017, he founded an online school to teach trading and investigation and named it 'Piranha Profits'. Entrepreneurial ideas have been running in his mind from his school days when he started the music business with his friends. He provided music and entertainment services at parties andwas also a sales coach to insurance agents and marketing managers. He also wrote a book named I Am Gifted. So Are You!

Goh Chok Tong

He served as the Prime Minister of Singapore from 1990 to 2004. Tongearned a degree ineconomics from NUS and passed with flying colours. After finishing his studies, he started working in the government sector and in 1969, Tongworked in the national shipping company. He became a member of the parliament in 1976and was later appointed as Finance Minister. Chok Tong also served as Trade and Industry Minister, Minister for Health, and Minister of Defence of Singapore. He was appointed as the first deputy Prime Minister of the country and finally, in 1990 he became the second Prime Minister of Singapore. He was known to be more open-minded than his predecessor and made sure tohonourthe words of others. Some policy developments under him as Singapore's PMwere some schemes like Medisave, Vehicle Quota System, etc.

Tony Tan

Tony Tan studiedphysics at NUS. He received Asia Foundation Scholarship and is currently a politician by profession serving first as the deputy prime minister and later the 7th President of Singapore from the year 2011-2017. Tanbegan his career as a banker and rose to the position of manager at Overseas-Chinese Banking Corporation. He served as the chairman and CEO of the bank for a long time. In the meanwhile, he started his career in politics in 1979. Tan was in service in the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation where his role was as Deputy Chairman and executive director. He was also the chairman of the National Research Foundation. As the president of Singapore, he believed in the formation of Social reserves, that is the ties that are intangible but bind the nation.

Kishor Mahbubani

Kishor Mahabubani is a Singaporean diplomat with Indian roots. He passed from the National University of Singapore in 1971 in the subject ofphilosophy. He is an academician, geopolitical consultant, and diplomat.He served as a foreign service officer after his graduation andwas also made the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Later,Mahbubaniserved as Singapores Permanent Representative to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). He also teaches Practice of Public Policy and has authored the books - Can Asians Think?, Beyond The Age of Innocence: Rebuilding Trust Between America and the World, among others. His latest publication is Has China Won? which came out in 2020. Mahbubabiis currently the head of various boards and councils in Singapore and other countries.

Jane Lee

Jane Lee is a mountaineer by profession as well as a speaker and writer. She studiedEnglish Literature at the National University of Singapore and graduated in the year 2007. The Everest Team of Singapore has been co-founded by her where she serves as the leader. Her first remarkable moment was her climb of Mt. Everest. Lee took up the work at Republics Polytechnic Adventure Learning Centre where she quit pursuing mountaineering as a full-time opportunity. She is the first woman from south-east Asia to have climbed the seven highest summits of the seven continents. Despite several hardships faced by her during her journey to the mountain peaks, she didn't lose her determination and courage. Singapores Womens Hall of Fame inducted her into their virtual hall of fame.

Adam Chen

Adam Chen did hiscivil engineering degree from the National University of Singapore and is now a television and movie actor. While at university, he performed as a model and joined a talent show named Route to Glamour. He did modeling for many television and newspaper commercials and in 2005, hegot a rolein a series called Yummy Yummy. Chen also acted in English Language dramas with his last drama appearance in Gonna Make It. Chen has now turned into a businessman and runs a chain of restaurants. His diversification into the food industry has given new mileage to his career.

Mei Fong

Mei Fong is a journalist who grew up in Malaysia. Her education is from the National University of Singapore from where she got her degree. She later studied International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. She started her career working for The New Paper. Fong was the correspondent of The Wall Street Journal for the Chinese department and also received the Pulitzer Prize for international reporting to become the first Malaysian to achieve this award. She also got the Human Rights Press Award from Amnesty International. Additionally, shewon an award for her book One Child which is based on the Chinese policy of single children. In 2019, she was named the director of communications and strategy for the Centre for Public Integrity.

Chew Choon Seng

Singapore Airlines was entrusted to the worthy hands of Chew Choon Seng.He completed his Bachelors from the National University of Singapore in the field of mechanical engineeringand later went to Imperial College London for his master's in operation research. He joined Singapore Airlines in 1972 and held important administrative assignments covering finance, treasury, human resources, corporate planning, and legal and corporate governance. His areas of work expanded over London, Tokyo, Rome, Los Angeles, and Sydney. He was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of the airlines in 2003. His service extended in the institutions such as Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise, Singapore Airport Terminal Services, SIA Engineering Company, and Virgin Atlantic. He has been bestowed the title of leadingSingapore CEO by Thomas Reuters Extel Asia Pacific Survey.

Jasmine Ser

Jasmine Ser is a young Singaporean athlete who graduated from NUS in2014. She efficiently juggled her studies with sports and currently specialises inshooting. She took part in the Summer Olympics of 2012 in Womens 10m air rifle and 50-meter rifle 3 positions events and won a silver medal in the 2006 Asian Games. In 2010, she won Gold in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the 50metre rifle 3 positions. Her participation in the 2016 Summer Olympics was marked by a tough competition with her competitors. Her achievements brought her country, Singapore, the first Olympic Quota place of the Asia Olympic Qualifying Position.

Ho Ching

Ho Ching, a Singaporean, studiedelectrical engineeringand acquired her bachelor of engineering degree from the National University of Singapore in 1976. In 1995, she received the Distinguished Engineering Alumnus Award. Her role is of a business executive and businesswoman. She is currently associated with Temasek Trust as the director. Ching is the wife of the current Singaporean Prime Minister. She began her career in the ministry of defense. She held the position of Deputy Director of the Defense Science Organisation. Ho joined as deputy director of Engineering and fulfilled various roles and later,she was made the president and chief executive officer of the same. Forbes magazine ranked her 23rd in the most Power Women 2019 and 30th in 2020.
