Israel’s Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) has invited international students, including from India, to apply for its newly-launched M.Sc in Mechatronics Engineering program latest by June 30, 2021. Offered by BGU’s department of Mechanical Engineering, the master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering is an interdisciplinary course, which is a blend of different engineering disciplines including mechanical, computer, industrial, management and electrical engineering. It is aimed at training students to solve complex problems related to engineering and providing them with the tools to understand the dynamic analysis of mechanical systems.
For successful completion of the M.Sc degree in Mechatronics Engineering, one should complete 8 courses based on robotics, control and estimation theories along with a research project leading to an M.Sc. thesis within two academic years or four semesters.
Tuition fee for the program is approximately USD 5,000 per year. Applicants with a remarkable academic record may also apply for scholarships offered by the university.

Here are the eligibility conditions that one must meet in order to apply for M.Sc in Mechatronics Engineering at BGU 2021:

Must hold a B.Sc degree in physics, engineering or computer science from a recognized university.

Must have obtained a minimum GPA of 80/100 in B.Sc.

Must have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 85/120 or equivalent in an internationally recognised English proficiency test.

Postgraduate Scholarships for International Students at BGU, Israel 2021
This scholarship is for those international students who intend to complete a thesis during their Master’s degree. The fellowship will be for two years open for all departments under the Faculty of Engineering.
It will be covered in the form of following shares: With a total of 10 portions, 5 portions will be covered by the Faculty Dean, 3 by the host department/unit and 2 by the advisor.
Those interested in applying for it will have to submit a typewritten application form (given by the university), updated CV, formal BSc degree translated into English and three reference letters.
