The university has taken other measures to ensure that all campuses are safe and that these measures are in alignment with the Victorian governments protocols.
Deputy Vice President (Global) and CEO (South Asia), Ravneet Pawha, said that since the onset of the pandemic in 2020, the university has been actively engaging with its international cohort by offering financial, study and community support particularly to those impacted by border closures.
This was much-awaited news for all students including current and potential, as well as partners, he added.
With a comprehensive student services program and staff based at the South Asia office at New Delhi, Indian students transition to studying at Deakin would be easier, Pawha mentioned. He further said that the university is looking forward to welcoming international students on-campus.
