The University of Essex in the UKhas launched a scholarshipfor Indian students interested in pursuing a master's degree in theUnited Kingdom. Under the Academic Excellence International Masters Scholarship programme, the institution will now provide a variety of scholarships to Indian students.
The scholarship is accessible for the September 2022 intakeand January 2023 intakeat the university and will provide Indian students with up to GBP 5,000 in financial aid.
These scholarships will be offered to Indian students based on academic performance and will be paid as a tuition fee reduction. The grant is in the form of a partial tuition fee remission and is accessible to students enrolled in postgraduate taught Master's courses.

Full-time taught master's courses leading to the degrees of MA, MSc, LLM, or MRes are eligible for these scholarships. These will be given to students who have completed relevant high school or university courses in one of the stated countries, and who are domiciled in one of the other specified countries in the case of the UK.
A student must also have earned an undergraduate degree (including integrated master's degrees) with the stated or higher grade point average.
Nevertheless, these scholarships are only available to students who pay their tuition in another country and are completely self-funded. They are only accessible during the first year of master's studies and are not eligible to students who are completely or partially financed.

While applying to any programme at the University of Essex, candidates' eligibility for these scholarships will be automatically assessed based on the minimum requirements as specified in the application procedure.
