Telangana University offers a total of 26 courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The university also offers Ph.D. programme in a total of 13 disciplines. There are a total of 8 faculties at Telangana University through which all the courses are segregated. Telangana University admission to various courses is done strictly on the basis of the TUCET/OU Common Entrance Test which is conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad. The University strictly follows the rule of reservation as per the government norms and ensures strict adherence to the reservations into various categories. The complete admission process will be on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the TUCET/OU Common Entrance Test and the seats are allocated on the basis of rank obtained in the entrance test. Telangana University Selection Criteria 2023

Telanagana University selection process is done by considering the components mentioned below:

• Selection of candidates for Telangana University admission is done on the basis of TUCET/OU Common Entrance Test (conducted by the Osmania University, Hyderabad)
• Admission is based on rank and eligibility criteria subject to the rule of reservation. 
• For every Telanagana University course, 85% of the seats are reserved for the local candidates who have the domicile of Nizamabad and Adilabad. 
• The reservation, however, does not apply to any course of study in which the total number of available seats does not exceed three. 
• While determining the number of seats reserved in favor of local candidates, any fraction of a seat is counted in favor of local candidates provided there is at least one unreserved seat for which locals and non-locals compete.

Telangana University Admission Process 2023

Telangana University admission process will go through the following steps:

• Candidates must go through the complete eligibility criteria for the Telangana University course that they wish to apply for.
• If they fulfill the required Telangana University eligibility criteria, candidates will have to apply for TUCET/OU Common Entrance Test conducted by Osmania University from the university’s official website.
• Candidates will further have to appear for the entrance test and qualify for the exam.
• Shortlisted candidates will have to attend the counselling session for TUCET/OU Common Entrance Test through which they will be allotted seats for Telangana University admission. 
• The seats will be allocated on the basis of performance in TUCET/OU Common Entrance Test and reservation policy.
• Candidates who have been allocated seats will have to visit the Telangana University campus, submit their documents for verification and pay the admission fee to confirm their seats for admission.

Telangana University cutoff 2023 is the minimum rank or score that a candidate must obtain to secure their seat in the institute. Candidates must note that Telengana University cut off 2023 will be different for all the courses and categories.
