UAS also started Distance Education Unit (DEU) in the Directorate of Extension, which combines all the non-formal education activities under one umbrella. The table below depicts some interesting facts related to University of Agricultural Sciences:
Placement: Jai Jawan was the company that comes every year for recruiting. Most of them go to work as agricultural officers or sericulture officers. Almost all got jobs at this college. The average package is around 4 lacs here. Most of the agricultural companies are here for students.
Infrastructure: The university has good infrastructure facilities like laboratories, experimental units, library, indoor and outdoor stadium, and hostels for both boys and girls.
Faculty: The exam level is moderate but you have to study in college to do well in the exam. All the teachers here are very qualified, but they have the traditional way of teaching. But some teachers use PPT presentations to teach students but prefer doing self-study as our college has some great study materials.
Hostel: Hostels of the university are again average. the main problem that most hostels do have of food , is not our concern , our concerns was my room , my room need study table, and A good light but management was not that responsible in solving my issue.
Overall: As a student who has experienced firsthand, I would highly recommend this college to prospective students. The overall environment is conducive to learning and personal growth, with ample opportunities for extracurricular activities and development.
Placement: They over-exaggerate the whole "we guarantee job placement" to the bums who are about to enroll into our institution. and it's not necessarily the best way to secure a job after graduation from this college; too many good companies have their recruiters visit the campus, especially for business, engineering, computer sciences and nursing fields
Infrastructure: The accommodations and amenities are a mix of good, bad, and ugly. Libraries are the bulk of the place and have enough facilities that will help you accomplish your tasks. Also, the academic buildings are just as good- I'd say - modern and cozy.
Faculty: Here at this university outstanding professors can range from palpable enthusiasm and excitement to mental absenteeism. In these, the brilliant students make it simple for the rest of us by breaking down the concepts in a manner which is easy to understand.
Hostel: If there are some money, do me a favor and rent an appartment after your first year, because dorm rooms are not worth living there. It is not possible to do luxury except when you afford any of the newly built apartment-style buildings so you will be always staying in a small room with poor conditions.
Overall: The college provied good infrastructures good campus, best hostel facilities good staff and experienced teacher. well developed collage,, all facility is outstanding here.
Placement: The placements is good . salary package are also good. their recruiters are eTeam, UNICODE SYSTEMS, GATI, HDFC bank, FNC, GlaxoSmiteCline, Luminous, NOVARTIS, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well developed for the students may it be the transport or buildings. Each block is equipped with proper labs and libraries and also has the security guards all around for the safety of the students. Each lab has all the items required in order to perform the desired task.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced and trained to provide the correct guidance and skills required for the students to develop holistically. Members are trained under the guidance of their teacher to find out their drawbacks and weaknesses, so that they can work on it and prove them to be better candidates during placements
