The University of Tulsa, popularly known as TU, is a private research-based university situated in the heart of the beautiful city of Tulsa in the Oklahoma state of USA. The university was founded in 1894 with the motive to provide good education to the young generation of the society. Today, more than 4000 students are pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and certificate courses from TU with the help of highly skilled faculty of 350+ members on a 200-acre campus. Also, the University of Tusla is listed in many top University lists - it has been ranked 701 by QS, 171 by Forbes, 154 by Times Higher Education, 106 by the US News & World Report and 308 by the Washington Monthly.
Infrastructure, Campus & Courses
Tu is further divided into 6 schools - Division of Continuing Education, College of Law, Graduate School, Henry Kendall College of Arts & Sciences, College of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Collins College of Business and Oxley College of Health Sciences, which offer 100+ programmes to residents and international students. The popular major choices for international students are - Mechanical Engineering, Mining and Petroleum Engineering, Finance, Chemical Engineering, Accounting and Business. Various other innovative programmes offered at the University are - Energy Management, Research in sleep & pain tolerance, cyber-attacks and preventions and may more.

The percentage of international students at TU is about 19%, thus, the university provides various cultural programmes to help the international students blend in.Every year, the University of Tulsa realises the Career Outcome Rate of graduates for the academic year. It includes the percentage of graduates who are employed as full-time or part-time or working as a freelancer. It also includes those who go for postgraduate fellowship, entrepreneurship, military service, volunteer service or take higher studies. In-person Classes: Courses that require in-person learning experience like medicine, clinical, research-based or lab works are being held In-person with appropriate social distancing, face-covering and other safety measures.
Online Classes: Online courses will be conducted remotely through Harvey or other electronic means of communication.
Hybrid Classes: Many courses will be offered using hyflex and hybrid delivery methods, which are a combination of online and in-person classes. They are being offered due to limited space in the classrooms to maintain physical distancing. They can be accessed in synchronous as well as asynchronous mode.
Safety Measures
Students will be seated with a gap of at least 6 feet between each other to maintain physical distancing for in-person classes.
The average capacity of the classroom is 33%.
Everyone on campus is required to wear face masks and maintain physical distancing.
On-campus housing facilities are open even for international students with the necessary precautions and safety measures.

International undergraduate students at the University of Tulsa are eligible for the Merit-based, International Leadership Scholarship.
It is a renewable scholarship and for this, the student must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 while studying at the University of Tulsa.
The eligibility criteria for an international student to receive an International Leadership Scholarship is as follows:
The applicant must have outstanding academic performance in the previous qualifications.
Must show involvement in extracurricular activities
Must demonstrate leadership qualities
Must be enrolled in full-time undergraduate studies

International Leadership Scholarships range from $2,000 to $22,000 USD per year.
How to Apply?
There is no need to fill in a separate application for International Leadership Scholarships. Students are shortlisted for a scholarship based on the application submitted for admissions.
