Founded in 1956, Lugansk State Medical University has level IVth accreditation by the Ministry of Health, Ukraine and is ranked third among the Best Medical Universities in Ukraine according to the ranking list released by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Lugansk State Medical University is recognized and accredited by renowned medical organizations across the world such as the World Health Organisation (WHO), Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) and NMC (National Medical Commission).
Infrastructure, Campus & Courses
Lugansk State Medical University has 3 academic buildings including a fully equipped dental clinic, laboratories for scientific research, a centre for family medicine and pharmacy labs. LSMUs campus facilities include high-speed wireless internet access, auditorium, sports ground and gymnasium. The classrooms at the Lugansk State Medical University campus are equipped with Web-based learning resources, including Blackboard Learn through which several video conferences and webinars are conducted. The campus also has 5 hostels with a total area of 28431 sq. offering accommodation facilities to 2500 students. All the hostel rooms are well-furnished and equipped with a bed, mattress, pillow, blanket, desk, chair, cupboards and other necessities. LSMU has 7 faculties - Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Nursing, Pharmaceutical Faculty, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Postgraduate, Department of Pre-medical course and Department of Pediatrics are available at the campus of Lugansk State Medical University. All the courses are taught by experienced MDs, PhDs, and other notable healthcare professionals.
