A total number of 174 Private Engineering Colleges of Andhra Pradesh are accredited with ‘A’ Grade by NAAC. Colleges are accredited with ‘A’ grade based on the information given by college management regarding number of admissions, pass percentage, placement percentage and facilities for the academic year 2015-2016. A total number of 117 Engineering Colleges were accredited with ‘B’ Grade.
There are 17 Engineering Universities in Andhra Pradesh and 309 Engineering Colleges. These colleges are given grading after analyzing the above mentioned aspects. There are 81 Polytechnic Colleges in Andhra Pradesh out of which 44 Colleges are accredited with ‘A’ Grade, 27 Colleges with ‘B’ Grade and 10 Colleges with ‘C’ Grade.
