Admission Notice- IISc, Bangalore Announces Admission for PG Programme 2016

Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore have opened its gates for students interested for amssion to Master of Technology (M.Tech), M.Tech by research, master of Design (M.Des), Master of Management, Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) and integrated Ph.D programs offered in various disciplines for the session 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for IISc, Bangalore:

For M.Tech Programs:

• Second class in bachelor's degree in appropriate field of Engineering/ Technology or equivalent degree with valid GATE score.
• Master’s degree in Science, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, Instrumentation, Electronics or master’s in Computer Application as applicable to the respective departments.

For M.Des Program:

• Second class in bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Design /Architecture with valid GATE/ CEED scores

For Ph.D Programs:

• First class in B.Sc or equivalent degree in Physical, Mathematical, Chemical, Biological Sciences (including bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences).

For M.Des Program:

1. GATE/ CEED score
2. Design Aptitude Test and interview.

For Master of Management Program:

1. GATE/ CAT/GMAT scores
2. Group discussion and interview.

For integrated Ph.D in Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Mathematical Sciences:

1. JAM 2016 score
2. Interview

For Ph.D in Biological Sciences:

1. JAM 2016 score
