AP Govt. Reviews Arrangements for AP SSC Exams 2026: 5.17 lakh students to appear for exams
The SSC Exam 2026 preparations have been strengthened by the AP Government with the installation of clocks in all examination centers and the provision of cloak rooms for students. The Chief Secretary, Ramakrishna Rao, reviewed the preparations and asked the officials to conduct malpractice-free exams.
AP SSC Exams 2026:The Andhra Pradesh State Government has stepped up preparations for the AP SSC Public Examinations 2026,with over 5.17 lakh Class 10 studentsset to appear for the exams. In a major move this year, clocks will be installed at all SSC examination centres for the first time, to enable students to make efficient use of their time during the exams. The authorities have also provided cloakroom facilities at all exam centres, so that students can leave their bags and other belongings before entering the exam halls.
Since theSSC exams are set to commence from March 16,Chief SecretaryK. Ramakrishna Raoreviewed the readiness of the system through a video conference with the district collectors. During the conference, he asked them to make foolproof arrangements and ensure that there are no cases of malpractice.
Extensive Arrangements for AP SSC Exams 2026 Across the State
The government has asked the district education officers and the concerned administrations to complete all the preparations in advance. The examination centres have been provided with the necessary infrastructure, including seating arrangements, power supply, drinking water, clock rooms and medical facilities for the students.
Special attention has been given to discipline and transparency during the examinations. Flying squads, sitting squads, and special monitoring teams will be formed to prevent any malpractice. CCTV surveillance and special security arrangements will also be made at the sensitive centres.

According to the latest updates, theAP SSC Hall Tickets 2026 are expected to be available in thefirst week of March, and students are advised to download and check all the details carefully, as no student will be allowed to enter the exam centres without a valid hall ticket and ID proof. With more than five lakh students, the AP Government has ensured smooth, transparent, and student-friendly SSC exams.
