Event Updates- Assam Engineering Institute To Organise Free Skill Development Training Programme

Assam Engineering Institute,Chandmari is organising a free Skill Development Training of five to seven weeks duration in association with Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University (KKHSOU) from the 15th of June, 2016.

Interested candidates are invited to join the below mentioned courses (NCVT) under the scheme at Assam Engineering Institute, Chandmari, Guwahati-3. Assam Engineering Institute, a premier technical institution of Assam was established in the year 1948. It is affiliated to the State Council for Technical Education. The institute was first started as "Assam Civil Engineering School" and offered a diploma course in Civil Engineering. With increasing demands for technical education in the state, diploma courses were introduced in other disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Electronics & Telecommunication and Computer.

Courses Offered:

Tailor Ladies and Gents, Computer Hardware & Networking, Rewinding of AC/DC Motors, House Wiring, Basics of Beauty and Hair Dressing, Hair Cutting Specialist, Basic Welding (Arc), Coputer Fundamentals, Embroidery, Fabric Painting, Repair of Electrical Home Appliances, Artificial Flower Kit Making, Automobile Repair & Maintanence, DTP and Tally, Repair & Maintenance of Cellular Phone, Turning & Plumber.

Limited Seats are available for the courses. Admission will be granted on first-cum-first basis.

University Registration Fee is Rs Three Hundred Only, (Rs. 300/-).
