B.P.Poddar Institute of Management and Technology organised HackOn 101

B.P.Poddar Institute of Management and Technology (BPPIMT) Kolkata organised a 8 hour mini Hackathon on Web and Mobile Technologies. The unique hackathon was named as HackOn 101.

The event was organised by BPPIMT in association with Campus Karma and Codeblix. The high-end hackathon competition was held with the agenda to bring out the best out of the upcoming technocrats.The competition was based on 4 to 5 topics given on the spot and the participating teams had 8 hrs to built a product out of it .Students from all leading technical colleges and universities from Kolkata and other districts of West Bengal took part in the competition and all of them were allowed to use any IDE ,any languages , any database and any sort of APIs for the hackathon.

The Ultimate Hackathon was a gateway to all the Engineering students from each and every recognised Colleges and University of West Bengal who wanted to showcase their talent and gain the reputation of applause from the jury. The hunt for the champion hacker also consisted with the offer of a chance of internships at funded startups

Students from different colleges and universities actively participated in each and every event & competitions and made 'HackOn 101' a great hit. The Winners of the Competition were awarded cash rewards worth about 10 Thousand Rupees, gift hampers and certificates for their achievements.HackOn 101 was also associated with some interactive workshops by some of the respective guests and motivational startup owners.
