ICAI CA Foundation Result January 2026 LIVE:The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the CA Foundation Result 2026 for the January session today, March 8, and the link has been activated. Along with the result, ICAI has released the data for the number of candidates who appeared vs. those who qualified at the official result portal: icai.nic.in. The CA Foundation January 2026 toppers list will be announced shortly. Unlike the Intermediate and Final results, the Foundation results have large numbers of candidates, who are usually school-leavers and first-time professional exam takers.

  Hiba P, Suman Karki and Raghav Naresh Gupa scored AIR 3 with 361 marks in the Foundation Result January 2026.

  Pass Percentage of January 2026 Session increases

  There is a marginal rise in the pass percentage for the January 2026 session. While the pass percentage in the September 2025 session was around 14%, the same is around 19% in the January 2026 sessoion.

  Can I get OMR Certified Copies of CA Foundation?

  For Papers 3 and 4 where MCQ are given and answers have to be marked on an OMR sheet, ICAI provides certified copies of the OMR sheet. However, OMR sheet will not have marks details as marks are uploaded on the system.

  Is Foundation result expected at 10 AM? Misleading rumours on social media

  There is no chance for the delcartion of the Foundation result at 10 AM. ICAI has clearly specified that the result will be released by the afternoon. Students are advised to not believe these rumors.

  Minimum Pass Marks required for CA Foundation Exam 2026

  The minimum pass marks required to clear the CA Foundation exam is 50% which means each candidate must score 200 marks out of 400.

  Will I receive Result Card of Foundation by Post?

  Candidates qualifying the Foundation exam will receive the result card by post. ICAI will send it within 4 weeks from the result announcement. However, no statement of marks shall be issued.

  ICAI does not provide any physical copy of the statement of marks for the Foundation result. Only the result scorecard released today shall be considered as the statement of marks.
