CLAT 2025 Result: The CLAT 2025 exam was held on December 1, 2024, for which the answer key was released on December 7, 2024. The answer key was challenged in the Delhi High Court, which ruled in favour of the appellant. Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) challenged the lower court's directive to revise the results in the Supreme Court of India, which is scheduled to be heard on January 15, 2025. The court case originates from a dispute about mistakes found in the CLAT 2025 final answer key, which caused demands for a reassessment and result revisions. The CNLUs will petition the SC to transfer cases from different High Courts to the Supreme Court about the CLAT 2025 Results. The primary goal of these petitions is to avoid several court cases across the country and to have a common appeal for an authoritative decision.

A CLAT 2025 candidate, Aditya Singh, filed a petition pointing out errors in the final answer key that was released on December 7, 2024, sparking the controversy. He maintained that the disparities affected his grades and might have harmed his prospects of getting accepted to the top NLUs. On December 24, 2024, the Delhi High Court decided in Singh's favour, directing the Consortium to remedy the mistakes and provide updated findings. After the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) contested the lower court's order to amend the findings, the case—which was first heard by the Delhi High Court—has now made its way to the apex court.

The Consortium petitioned the Supreme Court for a stay of the directive after the High Court's ruling, claiming that changing the results would cause thousands of applicants to have their admissions process interrupted. Because of this, the CLAT 2025 counselling procedure is still pending a decision. For more than 70,000 CLAT applicants, the Supreme Court's decision on January 15 will be very important. If the High Court's ruling is upheld, the CLAT Results 2025 will be revised and republished, which could change the merit rankings and have an impact on admissions. On the other hand, the current outcomes might remain in place and counseling will resume using the initial ratings if the court supports the Consortium's position.
