CLAT 2026 List of Documents Required on the Exam Day
Since CLAT 2026 will be conducted on December 7, candidates can check out the list of documents required on the exam day here. These documents will be required for pre-exam formalities and verification purposes.
CLAT 2026 : Consortium of NLUs will conduct CLAT 2026 examination on December 7. Candidates must carry the following documents to the examination hall to be allowed to sit for the test. These documents will be required to verify your identity and eligibility to sit for the test. If any candidate fails to carry these documents, they will not be allowed to take the examination. Again, candidates must ensure that these documents are not expired, and brought in proper conditions. The details in the documents are correctly printed, and there is no sign of any discrepancy for a hassle-free process. Candidates are advised to bring both original and photocopies in case if the authorities decide to check and tally both.

- CLAT 2026 Admit Card : CLAT 2026 Admit Card is mandatory for entry into the examination hall. The admit card should be downloaded from the official website, and all details in the hall ticket should be clearly visible. Although one printout is enough, candidates must carry more, just in case one gets misplaced.
- Passport-sized Photograph : A recent passport-sized photograph that matches the one uploaded during the application form should be pasted in the designated area on the admit card for identity verification purposes.
- Valid Photo ID : Candidates must carry any of the valid, government-issued, and unexpired photo identity cards, such as a Passport, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, or Voter ID card.
Apart from these, candidates must also carry a blue or black ballpoint pen, a water bottle, and disability certificate (for PwD candidates) to avail any benefits. Candidates should avoid carrying any electronic gadgets or prohibited items inside the examination hall to avoid disqualification.
