CMAT 2026 Notification likely in November
The National Testing Agency is most likely to release the official CMAT 2026 Notification in November 2025. With the notification, the registration process will begin, and the exam is expected in January 2026.
CMAT 2026 Notification:
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national-level examination to test the eligibility of candidates for admission to management courses. CMAT 2026 Notification will be released by the National Testing Agency anytime soon. Although NTA has not yet declared a release date, the official CMAT 2026 Notification is expected to be released by November 2025. As per the pattern, the registration window will be open for approximately 25 to 30 days, and the entrance exam will be conducted after a month. Candidates interested in applying for CMAT 2026 shall prepare accordingly for the exams. Considering the registration process begins in November, the CMAT 2026 exam is most likely to be held in January 2026. Candidates qualifying for the CMAT 2026 exam will be eligible to secure admissions at the top management institutes accepting CMAT scores.
Previously, in CMAT 2025, the notification was released on November 14, 2024, followed by the registration process until December 13, 2024. The CMAT exam was held on January 25, 2025. A similar pattern is expected to be followed for CMAT 2026, so candidates should be prepared accordingly. To register, candidates will have to apply online through the official website and upload their documents. Candidates will also have to pay the application fee online to complete the registration process.
As per the format, the CMAT 2026 exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test Mode across multiple cities. The question paper will have 100 questions, each question carrying 4 marks for correct answers. There will be negative marking for incorrect answers, where 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The question paper will include questions from Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Only the candidates qualifying for the CMAT 2026 will be eligible for the admission process in the institutes accepting CMAT scores.
