CSE Research Center Granted for QIS College

The QIS College of Engineering and Technology has been granted a CSE research center Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. The college management conducted a press meet to give details about the CSE research center. College chairman, N. Nageswara Rao addressed the meet.

He said, “The CSE Department of the college has been recognized as research center by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. Previously the Electronics department and Mechanical engineering department of the college secured this status. This status enables the college to enable research activities for those who are going to pursue Ph.D. M.Tech graduates can do research activities in Mechanical, Electronics and Computers. The college has been also granted membership in Computer Society of India. The college has been consistently working hard for these achievements and has been successful”.

College principal, Mr. Veeraswamy said, “The College gives a lot of scope for research activities which inculcates interest among the students in research as well as develops knowledge. The students of the college submitted thesis and got them published in various journals. The college has excellent and experienced faculty. Through these research centers the college faculty can do Ph.D.”

The press meet was attended by College librarian, N. Srinivasa Rao, HOD of CSE department and other faculty menbers.
