CBSE is expected to release the CTET 2026 answer key & response sheet by the 1st or 2nd week of March, 2026. The answer key will be made available on the portal of CBSE, and you will be able to download it by logging in using your credentials. With the help of the answer key & the response sheet, you will be able to get an idea about the marks in your exam.

Talking about the exam, it was earlier scheduled to be conducted on February 7-8, 2026. However, due to some administrative reasons, it couldn’t be held in certain exam centres. Thereafter, a re-exam will be held at those centres on March 1, 2026. Following this, the answer key & the response sheet will be released.

What After the Release of the CTET 2026 Answer Key?

After the provisional CTET 2026 answer key is released (expected by the second week of March), candidates enter a critical objection window lasting 2–3 days. During this time, you can download your scanned OMR response sheet and challenge any discrepancies by paying a non-refundable fee of INR 1,000 per question. Once CBSE subject experts review these challenges, a final answer key will be published.

In conclusion, the CTET 2026 answer key and response sheet are expected to be released in the 1st or 2nd week of March 2026, following the re-exam on March 1, 2026, at certain centres. After the provisional answer key is published, candidates will have a short window to raise objections for any discrepancies. A non-refundable fee will be required for each question challenged. Once reviewed, CBSE will release the final answer key.
