CTET Application Form February 2026 : The Central Board of Secondary Education is scheduled to close CTET Application Form February 2026 today, December 18. However, based on the previous year's trends, there is a chance of an extension of the last date. Though nothing has been officially announced by the officials yet, it usually gets extended every time. Until there is a formal update by the officials, candidates must consider today as the last date for registration. If you have not registered yet, you should do it at ctet.nic.in as early as possible.

To register, first check the eligibility criteria for the examination, then create an account on the portal. Log in with your sign-in credentials to access the registration form. The registration form will include entering personal and educational details, uploading documents for verification, and payment of the registration fee.

After completing these processes, take a printout of the e-receipt and e-application form for future reference. Note that merely submitting the registration form will not qualify you for taking the test; the conducting authorities will screen your application for eligibility criteria. If approved, you will be allowed to take the test scheduled for February 8, 2026.

As far as eligibility is concerned, for Paper 1, candidates need 50% in Class 12 and a 2-year diploma in elementary education, special education, or a 4-year B.Ed. For Paper 2, candidates must have 50% in graduation and a B.Ed. or graduation with a diploma in elementary education, or graduation with 50% marks and a B.Ed. in special education. Given the likelihood of an extension, candidates should still attempt to register today to avoid missing the opportunity.
