CUSAT B.Tech Option Entry 2025 will officially close on June 20. The option entry process began on June 5, 2025, and candidates who qualified in the CUSAT CAT 2025 exam have been required to log in to the official CUSAT admissions portal to register and lock their choices of B.Tech courses and colleges. Candidates must ensure that all preferred options are selected and locked before the deadline. If the options are not locked manually, the system will auto-lock them at the close of the window. Once locked, no further edits or changes can be made to the choices. This option entry directly decides seat allotment in the subsequent rounds.
The first round result of CUSAT B.Tech seat allotment is scheduled to release on June 24, 2025, and candidates allotted seats must proceed with fee payment and document verification as per the published schedule. Candidates missing the June 20 deadline will not be able to participate in the first round of seat allotment, which may impact their chances of securing a seat in their preferred branch or college.

Candidates can check below the stepwise instructions to fill out the choices for the CUSAT B.Tech Option Entry 2025:Login to the CUSAT admissions portal, admissions.cusat.ac.in, using your registered email ID and password.
Ensure you have submitted your marks from the qualifying examination before proceeding with option entry; candidates who do not submit marks and register options will not be considered for allotment.
Go to the option registration/choice filling section in the candidate profile section.
Carefully review the list of available B.Tech courses and colleges.
Select and prioritise your preferred courses and institutes by arranging them in the order of your preference. You are advised to fill as many choices as possible to maximise your chances of allotment.
You can modify or re-arrange your options any number of times until the last date of option registration ( i.e. June 20, 2025). After this deadline, the choices locked in the system will be considered final and cannot be changed.
Lock your final choices before the deadline. If you do not lock them manually, the system will automatically lock your last saved choices after the deadline.
Check and confirm your choices before the deadline, as no further changes will be allowed after the option entry window closes.
Seat allotment will be based on your CUSAT 2025 rank, the options you have registered, and seat availability in each course and college.
If allotted a seat, pay the required fees online within the stipulated period to confirm your admission. Failure to pay fees on time will result in cancellation of your allotment and options.
- If you wish to remain in the currently allotted option and not be considered for higher options in further rounds, you must cancel all higher options before the fee payment deadline.
