DTE Maharashtra CAP Round 2 Result 2025 LIVE Updates:The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, has released the CAP Round 2 Result for Polytechnic and Direct Second Year Diploma admissions 2025 on July 21. The option entry for CAP Round 2 was opened from July 17 to July 19, during which eligible candidates who were either not allotted a seat in Round 1 or seeking an upgrade could submit or revise their choices. A maximum of 300 institute and course preferences were allowed to be entered through the official website, poly25.dtemaharashtra.gov.in, using login credentials, i.e. Username and password.

After the announcement of the seat allotment on July 21, 2025, those allotted a seat had to accept the offer by paying the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 1,000/- and reporting to the allotted institute for admission confirmation between July 22 and July 24. The process required candidates to submit all necessary documents and the prescribed fee at their respective institutes. Unfilled and non-confirmed seats after CAP Round 2 will be carried into CAP Round 3, ensuring optimal allocation among deserving applicants.

DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic CAP Round 2 Result 2025 Seat Acceptance Process

To accept the allotted seat, candidates must log in to their account and pay the acceptance fee online.

• Candidates who receive their first allotment in Round-II must accept and pay.
• If allotted a top-three preference (autofreezed), accept and pay (not eligible for further rounds).
• If allotted a lower preference and satisfied, accept, pay, and freeze (not eligible for next rounds).
• If seeking betterment, accept with “Not Freeze” (Betterment) option and pay, to stay eligible for the next round.

After accepting the allotted seat, candidates must report to their allotted institute with required documents and payment. The institute will verify documents, upload admission status online, and issue confirmation and fee receipts. If any candidate is found admitted on false grounds, the institute will refuse admission and the candidate must file a grievance to update credentials.
