DUSU Election Result 2025 can be expected anytime soon, today, on September 19. 39% voter turnout was recorded during the elections. A total of 60,272 students casted their vote. The declaration of winners is anticipated after 6 PM.
DUSU Election Result 2025: Delhi University Students' Union elections concluded on September 18, wherein voting was conducted in two distinct shifts to accommodate students from both day and evening colleges. Students from day colleges cast their votes between 8:30 AM and 1 PM, while those from evening colleges voted between 3 PM to 7:30 PM. According to the count, ABVP won three positions, President, Secretary and Joint Secretary. NSUI has bagged the Vice President's post.Aryan Maanfrom ABVP has secured the President post.
Approximately 2.8 lakh students across 52 colleges were eligible to participate in the electoral process, which will determine the office bearers for the pivotal positions of president, vice-president, secretary, and joint secretary of the DUSU, along with representatives for college-level offices.Vote counting has been initiated today, September 19, from 8 AM. Once the DUSU Election Result 2025 is officially released, the list of winners will be prominently displayed below.

This year's elections were marked by a competitive contest among 21 candidates vying for the four key positions in the DUSU. Polling was efficiently conducted utilising Electronic Voting Machines across 195 strategically located polling stations, with nearly 700 EVMs deployed to facilitate a smooth voting process. To ensure the elections proceeded without any disruptions, security measures were heightened on university campuses.

A noteworthy aspect of these elections was the allowance of third-year students to contest for the vice-president and joint secretary posts, a decision made in alignment with the provisions of the National Education Policy, representing a departure from previous eligibility restrictions. Key issues that dominated the discourse in these elections included rising fees, a shortage of hostel accommodation, demands for subsidised transportation passes for students, and calls for enhanced safety measures on campus. Major student groups that participated in these elections include the ABVP, NSUI, and the SFI-AISA alliance. In a precautionary measure, the Delhi High Court has prohibited victory processions in the national capital following the announcement of the election results today.
