Faculty of MIC College Donates Foot Ware and Caps to Orphans

The faculty of MIC College of Engineering donated Foot ware and caps to the orphan children on 5-May-2016. This program was held at Perakalapudi Village, an adopted village of MIC College. The NSS Unit of the college coordinated the program.
The caps and foot ware were distributed to orphan children who are studying in local elementary school. The Head mistress of the school, Mrs. Saritha said that, “Children have been facing difficulty to walk on the streets in afternoon and evening due to heavy heat wave and they do not have proper foot ware. The faculty of the college noticed this and responded immediately”. The college faculty raised the funds and initiated this activity.
Foot ware and caps were distributed to 150 children. The faculties of the college were ably supported by the college management. NSS coordinator, G.Rajesh said, “Perakalapudi is an adopted village of MIC College. The NSS unit of the college has been taking necessary measures to see that greenery, cleanliness and basic amenities are maintained properly at village”.
School Headmistress thanked the college faculty and management for their service. The program was attended by Mandal Education Officer Chittibabau and Dean of the college, Dr. Nageswarara Rao.
