FMS Delhi MBA Admission 2026 to have 50% Weightage for CAT 2025 Score
FMS Delhi's MBA admission 2026 gives 50% weightage to CAT 2025 scores, with the remaining 50% based on Class X and XII marks, statement of purpose, extempore, and personal interview. The selection process involves a multi-component evaluation with a weighted score system.
FMS Delhi MBA Admission 2026: The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) Delhi will consider 50% weightage for CAT 2025 scores in its MBA admission process 2026-2028. The selection criteria for admission to the MBA Full-Time program involve a multi-component evaluation process. Candidates shortlisted for the interview process will be assessed based on a weighted score system, comprising various components. The weighted CAT 2025 score will contribute 50% to the overall score, while marks obtained in Class X and XII will contribute 10% each. For both Class X and XII, candidates scoring 60% or above but less than 75% will receive 5% weightage, while those scoring 75% and above will receive 10% weightage.
In addition to academic performance, the selection process will also include a discussion on the Statement of Purpose (10% weightage), an extempore (5% weightage), and a personal interview (15% weightage). These components will be conducted individually for all candidates. To shortlist candidates for the interview process, FMS will compute a weighted score based on CAT 2025 scores, with 40% weightage for Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), 30% for Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and 30% for Quantitative Ability (QA). Women candidates will receive an additional 5 marks in their weighted score for shortlisting purposes.
Eligibility criteria for the MBA program require candidates to have a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (45% for OBC Non-Creamy/EWS/PWD/CW and passing marks for SC/ST) or equivalent CGPA. Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply, but they must provide proof of their degree completion. Applicants with CGPA scores are required to provide an official conversion table from their university/institution to indicate the equivalent percentage of marks. By considering a range of factors beyond just CAT scores, FMS aims to evaluate candidates' overall potential and suitability for the MBA program.
