GATE 2026 February 7 Forenoon Session Begins
The forenoon (FN) session of GATE 2026 begun sharp at 9:30 AM. Candidates are being provided with a computer system, and the login ID and password will be displayed on the screen. Rough sheets for calculations will also be issued inside the examination hall and must be returned after the exam.

No Entry Allowed After 9:30 AM for Day 1 Shift 1 Test Takers
IIT Guwahati will close the entry gates before the commencement of the GATE 2026 February 7 forenoon session. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall after 9:30 AM under any circumstances, even if they reach the centre late.
