A mega job fair was conducted at Vijayawada on 24-May-2016. The mega job fair was organized by Integrated Rural Development Association. The job fair was held at Krishna District Lorry Owners Association Hall, Benz Circle, Vijayawada. The job fair was open for graduates of 2013-2016 academic years. The job fair was inaugurated by Joint Commissioner of Police, S. Hari Kumar.
Speaking on the occasion, he said “a large number of youth were losing employment opportunities due to lack of proper communication skills. He suggested the youth to improve to improve communication skills in a better way”. He appreciated Integrated Rural Development Association for organizing Job Fair.

A total number of 1,200 candidates registered for Job fair and attended interviews. Each company has conduction interviews according to its procedure. A total number of 600 candidates secured jobs in the job fair. The officials of IRDA congratulated the candidates and gave the offer letters. The candidates are offered annual packages ranging from Rs.1,00,000 to Rs.2,50,000. The job fair received a grand response and was successful.
