ICFAI and NAAC to Host National Seminar on Improving Higher Education
- NAAC and ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education will organise a national seminar on ‘Enhancing Quality in Higher Education’.
- Top officials from various universities and NAAC across the country will attend the seminar.
TheICFAI Foundation and Higher Educationand National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) will jointly host a national seminar on ‘Enhancing Quality in the Higher Education’. ICFAI’s campus located in Hyderabad will be the venue for the national seminar and it will take place on February 27 and February 28, 2018.
The seminar will be an awareness programme onNAAC accreditationand assessment quality systems for universities. The major focus of the seminar will be on NAAC quality indicator framework, benchmarking for higher education, quality assurance, key performance indicators, making the quest for quality a reality and aligning outcomes in higher education to significant performance indicators.

The two-day national seminar also aims to disseminate the revampedNAAC proceduresamong the developing and benchmark processes for attaining the expected outcomes aiming for securing NAAC accreditation, promoting quality culture among the higher learning institutes through identifying measurement metrics and developing an enabling capacity among the universities for improvinghigher education quality.
Senior officials, functionaries and representatives of several universities located in Rajasthan, Mizoram, Jharkhand, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura, Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Maharashtra will attend the conference.

Discussionswill take place on different ways to enhance quality in higher education. The seminar will comprise of sharing ideas, proposing suggestions and recommendations to improvehigher education qualityin India. In all, the two-daynational seminarwill draw out solutions and ways to enhance the quality of higher learning in India.
