ICSE Examination Result (Class 10) 2017 Likely to be Announced on 15th May

  • Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is expected to declare ICSE exam results of class 10th on 15th May.
  • The examination is generally conducted in 63 written subjects of which 13 are foreign languages and 22 are Indian languages.

Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is expected to declare Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) exam results of class 10th on 15 th May. The results will be published on the official website.

The ICSE examination for class 10 were earlier scheduled to start from 27th February and conclude on 31st March. But later, the exams were postponed and then began from 10th March and ended on 21st April. The ICSE and Indian School Certificate (ISC) examinations are conducted by the CISCE bodies.

Last year, the result was announced on 6 th May along with the ICSE result of class 12 th . This year, the ICSE examination was delayed due to the Election Committee of the country who declared the state elections for five assemblies.

2016 ICSE result:

  • Rank holders:
  1. Abineet Parichha from Odisha scoring 99.2 percent, topped the ICSE class 10 examination last year.
  2. The second position had been shared by four students including Isha Sethi (Mumbai), Jyotsana Srivastava (Lucknow), Manan Manish Shah (Kandivali) and Sudarshan R (Bangalore) with 99 percent marks while the third position was shared by ten students obtaining a score of 98.8 percent.
  • The pass percentage of the students who appeared for ICSE 2016

  1. 1,68,591 students appeared for the ICSE examination from 2,015 schools in India and abroad in the academic year 2016-17
  2. Number of Girls who qualified the ICSE was 74,885
  3. Number of Boys who qualified in ICSE was 91,172
  4. Number of Girls who didn't clear the ICSE was 806
  5. Number of Boys who didn't clear the ICSE was 1,728
  6. Overall 98.54%. students managed to clear the exams.
