IIM Ahmedabad launches Blended AI and Business Analytics Programme
IIM Ahmedabad introduces a blended MBA in Business Analytics and AI for working professionals. The programme mixes online classes with campus sessions for practical learning.
IIMA Launches Two-Year Blended MBA in Business Analytics & AI: The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has announced a new two-year blended mode MBA programme in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, designed for mid-career executives and working professionals. The program is designed to build executives who can use data, analytics, and AI for strategic business decisions. Unlike a normal full-time MBA, this course is a blended mode programme consisting of online live sessions along with the mandatory on-campus visits at IIM Ahmedabad.
The programme covers key management areas such as marketing, finance, operations, and strategy, alongside advanced topics in analytics, including machine learning, predictive modelling, and AI tools, among others, that enable data-driven decisions. This means that students will not just be taught business theory, but also how to use cutting-edge AI technology to solve actual business challenges. The course, divided into six terms over a duration of two years, enables students to work while studying.
Eligibility Criteria for Blended AI and Business Analytics MBA at IIMA
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (or equivalent like CA, CS, ICWA, CMA) with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA.
Working professionals or entrepreneurs with:
Three years' full-time work experience after a three-year graduation (10+2+3+3), or
Two years' full-time experience after a four-year graduation (10+2+4+2) minimum, as on March 31, 2026.
- Applicants are required to either submit a valid CAT/GMAT/GRE score (taken within the last 5 years) or participate in the Round-1 IIMA Admission Test for BPGP: BA & AI to be held on December 14, 2025.

Here are the key highlights for the Blended AI and Business Analytics MBA at IIMA:The blended format is spread over three terms per year for two years and comprises virtual as well as face-to-face modules.
Highlights of the course include predictive & prescriptive analytics, product management, human–AI collaboration, Gen-AI and agentic AI, AI ethics & policy, supply-chain digitisation.
Students will have the opportunity to use the world-class facilities of IIMA from the comfort of their home: the Vikram Sarabhai Library, state-of-the-art computing facilities, and an exhaustive suite of databases. They will also have access to a global alumni network of a premier institute.
The programme has an exit option after the first year: students may exit with a Post Graduate Diploma, instead of going for the complete MBA.
