IIM Calcutta launches Course in Mastering Storytelling for Leadership Communication and Influence: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has announced the launch of a new executive education programme titled “Mastering Storytelling for Leadership Communication and Influence.” It aims to enhance the communication and leadership skills of professionals across industries. The course is for mid-to-senior level professionals who are seeking to enhance their executive presence, work on their leadership communication, and elevate their brand.
IIM Calcutta’s new programme focuses on the art and science of storytelling, equipping participants with practical techniques to craft compelling narratives that resonate with employees, clients, and partners. The institute highlighted that the course will integrate theoretical insights with real-world case studies, exercises, and interactive sessions, making it highly application-oriented.
The course will cover modules on narrative structures, persuasive communication, emotional engagement, authenticity in leadership, and strategic influence. The programme is set to commence on September 30, 2025, and will run for 20 weeks. Delivered in an online format, it is priced at INR 1.50 lakh plus GST. Eligible candidates include graduates or diploma holders (10+2+3) and postgraduates from any discipline. Upon completing the programme with a minimum grade of 65 per cent, participants will be awarded a certificate of completion from IIM Calcutta.
The sessions will be led by IIM Calcutta’s expert faculty, alongside communication specialists and industry practitioners. According to the institute, this format will not only provide participants with academic depth but also real-time feedback to improve their communication style. Applicants must complete the online form, upload documents, and pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 1,500 via the official portal. Selection involves a merit-based review, with interviews for shortlisted candidates.
