IIM Mumbai and IIT Dhanbad Partner with the University of Western Australia: The University of Western Australia (UWA) has joined hands with IIM Mumbai and IIT/ISM Dhanbad to provide new horizons in mining, with a strong emphasis on logistics, sustainability, and modern workforce empowerment. Under the aegis of the collaboration, the institutes will introduce about 10 online micro-credential courses with industry-focused learning for the rapidly developing minerals and clean energy space in India.
According to UWA Vice-Chancellor Professor Amit Chakma, the partnership is intended to enhance supply chain resilience in India and enable the nation’s minerals workforce to access global best practices.
