IISc Bangalore to Accept JEE Advanced 2026 Score for B.Tech Admission through JoSAA Counselling
IISc Bangalore will now accept JEE Advanced 2026 scores for B.Tech admissions via JoSAA counselling. JoSAA counselling for 2026 will tentatively begin in the first week of June. Expected general cutoff for IISc B.Tech is 800-900. Mathematics and Computing is a core program with 52 seats.
IISc Bangalore to Accept JEE Advanced 2026 Score:IIT Roorkee has made an announcement that IISc Bangalore will now participate in the JoSAA counselling process from now onwards. For the same, the final admission will be done based on the JEE Advanced score, and the candidates should participate in the JoSAA counselling to secure a seat at the college. For instance, the expected closing rank for the general candidates should be between 800 and 900 to gain a confirmed seat in IISc Bangalore via JEE Advanced. As per the schedule, the JEE Advanced 2026 exam will be held onMay 17, 2026.
On the other hand, the authority is yet to declare the official date of the commencement of the JoSAA counselling. The JoSAA counselling is usually started immediately on the next date of the JEE Advanced 2026 result declaration. Tentatively, the JoSAA 2026 counselling will begin in thefirst week of June 2026.
