IISER AT Dates 2026 Announced: Registration to begin on March 5
IISER AT 2026 exam is on June 7. Registration starts March 5 and closes April 13. Application correction is from April 13-15, with admit cards out May 24. Fees are Rs. 2000 (Gen/EWS/OBC) or Rs. 1000 (SC/ST/PwD). The CBT has 60 MCQs (PCM/B), for a max of 240 marks.
IISER AT Dates 2026 Announced: The Joint Admissions Committee has officially announced IISER AT Dates 2026. As per the notification, the entrance examination will be conducted onJune 7, 2026, in a single shift from 9 AM to 12 PM. The test will serve as a key admission gateway for candidates seeking entry into the BS and BS-MS dual degree programmes offered by the IISERs across the country.
The IISER IAT 2026 Registration will commence onMarch 5, 2026. Eligible and interested candidates will be required to visitiiseradmission.into complete and submit the application form within the stipulated timeline. The last date to apply for the examination isApril 13, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete the registration process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
Following the closure of the registration window, the conducting authority will activate the application correction facility fromApril 13 to 15, 2026. During this period, applicants will be allowed to edit or rectify specific details entered in the application form. Once the correction window closes, the applications will be scrutinised to verify eligibility. Admit cards for candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be released onMay 24, 2026.
The IISER IAT application process involves multiple steps, including the submission of personal and academic details, uploading of required documents for verification, and payment of the application fee. The application fee is set at Rs. 2,000 for candidates belonging to the General, EWS, OBC, and OBC-NCL categories. Applicants from the SC, ST, PwD categories, as well as Kashmiri Migrants, Kashmiri Pandits, or Kashmiri Hindu families, are required to pay Rs. 1,000. For candidates applying under the foreign national category, the application fee is Rs. 12,000. It is important to note that the fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances.
The IISER Aptitude Test is a national-level, computer-based examination. The question paper will consist of 60 multiple-choice questions, with 15 questions each from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. The total duration of the examination will be 180 minutes. Each correct answer will carry one mark, and the maximum achievable score in the examination will be 240 marks.
