Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering became one of the fastest-growing courses, showing a 17.27% increase from 13,764 selections in 2024 to 16,141 in 2025. This rise highlights growing interest in data-driven engineering, machine learning applications, and analytics-focused careers. Mathematics and Computing also continued its upward trend, increasing by 15.35% from 11,493 to 13,257 choices, appealing to students interested in mathematically intensive fields like algorithm design, financial modeling, and theoretical computer science.
The most popular program is Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), which experienced a strong 14.55% year-over-year increase. In 2025, the program received 18,702 choices, up from 16,326 in the previous year.
