IITDM Kurnool and Rayalaseema University Sign MoU : In a major boost to academic and research collaboration, the Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Kurnool, and Rayalaseema University (RU) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement, signed by IIITDM Director B. S. Murthy and Rayalaseema University Vice-Chancellor V. Venkata Basava Rao, aims to foster a culture of innovation, research, and entrepreneurship.
The partnership will focus on joint research projects, curriculum design, faculty and student exchange, and the establishment of advanced laboratories and innovation hubs. The institutions will also collaborate on cutting-edge areas such as artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, and electric vehicle technology. "This collaboration will enable us to leverage our strengths and create a vibrant academic ecosystem that promotes creativity, technology-driven learning, and impactful research," said Prof. Murthy.
The partnership is expected to open new avenues for students and faculty to engage in interdisciplinary research and innovation, aligning with national and global priorities. "This MoU marks a significant milestone in our efforts to enhance our academic and research capabilities," said Prof. Venkata Basava Rao. The agreement is valid for two years, with the possibility of extension by mutual consent. Both institutions will work together to secure joint research funding and promote collaborative programmes that contribute to regional and national development.
