Indian Institutions can Tie up with Foreign Centres for UG Courses: Smriti Irani
The UG students will have chance to pursue two semesters in foreign institutes.
Union HRD Minister, Smriti Irani announced that Indian Institutions can tie up with foreign centres for the UG courses.She mentioned that the government has responded positively to this issue and accepted it. She has announced it in the fourth convocation ofIISER, Kolkata on 28-June-2016.
She mentioned that the Indian students who are pursuingUGcan have a chance to pursuetwo semestersin foreign institutes. The students who are pursuingPGcan have a chance to pursueone semesterin any of the foreign institutions.
It is a historical decision taken by the government. Through this students will have a lot of exposure and chance for improving knowledge and skills. This decision will definitely satisfy some of the youngsters who wish to pursue graduation in foreign institutes. The Indian government has tied up with foreign institutes for this purpose and enlightened the new hope for the students who are pursuing UG and PG.
