ITM-NEST M.Tech. Selection Process and Counselling Process

ITM Gwalior selects students for M.Tech on the basis of either ITM-NEST or other national level entrance exams.

Selection Process:

• Only those students who have completed graduation and cleared the eligibility criteria set by ITM University, Gwalior will be considered for admission.
• Selection for the M.Tech programmes offered at ITM Gwalior is done on the basis of a candidate’s score in ITM-NEST, GATE, PRE MCA, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT and ATMA.
• Students with exceptional performance in entrance exams are also offered scholarship assistance. Fellowships are also awarded to students for research programmes.

Counselling Process:

• Students will have to apply for counseling at ITM University, Gwalior in order to get a seat at the university.
• Once the counseling process begins, students are asked to fill up their trade preference online.
• Based on the merit list and academic record, students are allotted seats in their trades of their preference.
• Seats will only be confirmed after the student has paid the fee and the university has verified his/her documents.
