KCET Extended Registration Window 2026 Closing on February 22; Application form printout only after document verification

KCET 2026 Registration: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced that the extended last date for registration for KCET 2026 is February 22, 2026. This will be the last chance for candidates to register for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test. Candidates who have not yet registered are advised to submit their application forms through the official website cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
KEA has brought in a significant update in the process of application form submission this year. Candidates will be able to download and take a printout of the KCET 2026 application form only after a successful document verification process. This has been done to avoid any discrepancies in the candidate details.

A. Introduction of the Candidate Portal for KCET 2026
The Karnataka Examinations Authority has introduced a new Candidate Portal for CET-2026 to ensure easy access to the necessary documents.
- Candidates can access the portal using their login details after registration
- Download and print documents like:
- Application fee receipt
- Admit card
- Claim/verification slip
- Instructions and timetable for exams
- All updates and documents related to KCET are now available in one place
- Increases transparency and minimizes the need for physical visits
B. KCET 2026 Application Form Printing Allowed Only After Document Verification
For the first time, KEA has introduced document verification as a mandatory process before allowing the application form printout.
- The application print option is based on eligibility and reservation claims
- Details of studies are verified through the SATS number
- Details of reservations are verified through the RD number
- Some candidates will receive only a claim slip at first
- The full application can be printed only after successful document verification
- Candidates with auto-verified details can print directly without visiting any office
After the closure of the registration process, KEA will open the application correction period, followed by the release of the KCET 2026 admit card, prior to the examination, which is scheduled in April. Aspirants are advised not to wait until the last day and to make sure that all the information provided in the application form is correct to avoid any problems during the verification and counseling process.
