KCET Round 2 Seat Allotment 2025: Important Instructions Regarding Choice 1, 2 & 3
KEA has provided four choices to candidates who have been allotted seats in the second round of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025. These choices are as follows:
Choice 1: Accept the Allotted Seat and Opt Out of Further Rounds
- Candidates who are completely satisfied with their allotted seat and do not wish to participate in further rounds can choose this option.
- By selecting Choice 1, candidates confirm that they will join the allotted college and course, and they will not be considered for seat allotment in any subsequent rounds.
- Candidates will need to pay the fee for the allotted seat, download the confirmation slip, and complete the admission process within the stipulated timeframe.
- This choice is suitable for candidates who are certain about their admission and do not want to risk losing their allotted seat.
Choice 2: Accept the Allotted Seat and Participate in the Next Round
- Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seat but want to participate in the next round can choose this option.
- By selecting Choice 2, candidates will pay the prescribed fee for the allotted seat and participate in the third round of seat allotment.
- If a better option is allotted in the third round, the current seat will be cancelled automatically. If no better option is allotted, the current seat will be retained.
- This choice is suitable for candidates who want to keep their options open and potentially upgrade to a better seat.
Choice 3: Surrender the Allotted Seat and Participate in the Next Round
- Candidates who are not satisfied with their allotted seat and want to participate in the next round with all previously entered options (except the allotted seat) can choose this option.
- By selecting Choice 3, candidates will surrender their allotted seat and pay a caution deposit of Rs 10,000 to participate in the third round.
- Candidates can reorder their options and potentially get a better seat in the next round.
- This choice is suitable for candidates who are not happy with their current seat and want to explore other options.
