Kerala SSLC Exams 2026 to begin on March 5; Application form dates announced, date sheet soon
The Kerala SSLC Exams 2026 are all set to begin from March 5, 2025 onwards. Model exams are scheduled from February 16 to February 26, and the detailed date sheet will be released soon.
Kerala SSLC Exams 2026 to begin on March 5: The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has released the timetable for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations for the academic year 2025–26. According to the official notification, the Kerala Class 10 board exams will be conducted from March 5, 2026, to March 30, 2026 , at various centres across the state and overseas. The examination will be held in two sessions, depending on the subject, for most subjects between 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM (1 hour 45 minutes), for Subjects having practical and more between 9:30 AM to 12:15 PM (2 hours 45 minutes)
The Kerala Pareeksha Bhawan has also released the application schedule for the 2026 SSLC exam. The registration window will be active from November 11 to 19, 2025 , with no late fee. Applicants who fail to submit their application on time can also submit it from November 20 to 22, 2025, with a late fee .
However, the fee amount has not yet been announced. Based on the previous trends, the regular candidates have to pay
Rs. 120
(approximately) for the exam, and the private candidates,
Rs. 150
. Students who have already appeared in improvement or compartment examinations are required to pay an additional amount of
Rs. 20
for each subject. Schools have been directed to cross-check all the details of the students for any discrepancies before the final submission, to avoid errors while issuing the hall tickets.

Before the final exam, all schools in the state will hold model exams from February 16 to 26, 2026 . The mock tests aim to help students understand the board exam environment and time management, and test their preparedness. Teachers will analyse the performance in the model exam to give students additional guidance before the board exams.
According to the schedule, the valuation of answer scripts will take place from April 7 to April 25, 2026 , and the results will be announced by May 8, 2026 . Nearly 4.25 lakh candidates will be appearing for the exam at more than 3,000 centres in India and abroad, including the Gulf region and Lakshadweep.
The detailed subject-wise SSLC time table for 2026 will be available soon on the official website — pareekshabhavan.kerala.gov.in . Students are advised to visit the site regularly for updates related to the date sheet, admit cards, and instructions for the exams.
