Koneru Lakshmaiah University celebrated Placement Day on 5-May-2016. The celebration was conducted for the first time to mark 100% Placements at University. The celebrations were inaugurated by Chairman of KLU, Koneru Satyanarayana.
Addressing the students he said that, “Finally the University has reached the mile stone of achieving 100% Placements. The University has been declared as 59th best institute in India by NIRF recently. The University has been consistently working hard in assuring maximum placements and has been successful”. He appreciated the faculty of the University and congratulated the students. Later he gave away the mementos to the students who are selected in campus placements.
University Placement officer, Prof. Prasad gave the details of campus placements. He said, “A total number of 68 companies recruited 2,100 final year students of University. The top most package is Rs.12, 00,000”. Here is the list of number of students selected department wise:-
- ECE – 576students
- CSE – 542 students
- Mechanical – 239 students
- EEE – 259 students
- ECM – 200 students
- MBA – 128 students
The students have been selected for various multinational companies at the packages ranging from Rs. 3,00,000 to Rs. 12,00,000. The management and faculty congratulated the students. Students thanked the management for assuring 100% Placements.
