Kota is a Preferred and Safe Destination for Kashmiri Students

Most of the students from Kashmir are preferring Kota to take coaching for competitive exams and also to pursue higher education in various colleges. The reason is the classes are not held regularly in Kashmir due to tense situations and terrorist attacks. Students feel that regular classes are a bane for them in their native place.

In this scenario, Kota has become the major center for study for the Kashmiri students. Most of the students who want to crack medical and engineering examinations from Kashmir are preferring Kota for these exams. Most of the students from Kashmir feel safe in Kota and peacefully preparing for various entrance examinations.

Mushtak, a student who arrived from Kashmir to Kota said that landmines were planted in her school premises when she was studying in the seventh standard. She also said that she came to Kota along with her friends to get coaching for entrance examinations. She mentioned that Kota is the best place to get coaching for various entrance examinations.

One of the prominent coaching institute in Kota mentioned that a total number of 700 students from Jammu and Kashmir have joined so far. Most of the other institutes have no less than 50 students from Jammu and Kashmir.
