Lucknow University Admission Forms Available On Smartphones

Lucknow Universty has bring a student-friendly process of form filling this year by introducing smartphone form filling process for admission to undergraduate courses. Candidates applying for UG courses of Lucknow University can now easily fill their forms using their smartphones.

Having tested the mobile-friendly version of the application form, the university has for the first time facilitated filling and submission of application forms on smartphones. According to Prof. Anil Mishra, co- ordinator of entrance process at LU, University has made the process more student friendly and this move will benefit candidates who do not have access to a computer but use internet on their phones.

Following a seven-step form filling procedure in the same way as the website functions, candidates will first need to register themselves with their phone number and email ID. The login details of candidates will be sent on filled contact details.

Step two involves submission of the candidate's personal details followed by educational qualifications in the next step.

At step four, the candidate has to upload a photo and scanned signature and follow it up by previewing all details before moving on to submit application fee and keep a print of the completed form.

The university started with its online admission procedure through its website on April 20 and in four days it has received around 4,000 registrations and 1,600 candidates have submitted their fees.
