Magadh University senate meeting in line up

The senate meeting of the Magadh University (MU) officials would take place in Rajgir, Bihar instead of Bodh Gaya, where the headquarters of the university is located. The main agendas of the meeting are:

• Approval for the Magadh university budget.
• Proposal of the new courses that have been introduced
• Affiliation and ratification of academic council decisions

The university would also focus on the norms for the registration of the foreign university and the eligibility criteria for the teachers who would supervise the research of the projects for the Ph.D. degrees. Earlier the degrees were supervised even under the ad-hoc teachers and the non-teaching staffs.

It has been reported that the shift in the annual senate meeting of the Magadh University has been planned in order to conduct independent senate meeting, free from any violence that couldn’t be over-ruled due to the recent investigations being carried out on the foreign degrees.

The questionable appointments and absorption of the non-teaching staffs and the other employees would also be discussed. The relocation of the senate meeting has also been done in order to include the other office headquarters in another district in the meeting. The senate meeting is going to be held away from the headquarters, for the first time in the history of the last 54 years.
