Maharashtra DSE CAP Round 1 Dates 2025 Released: Schedule for vacant seats, option form, seat allotment
The conducting authority has released the Maharashtra DSE CAP Round 1 Dates 2025 at the official website, dse2025.mahacet.org.in. As per the schedule, the option entry is set to begin on August 1.
Maharashtra DSE CAP Round 1 Dates 2025 Released: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has declared the Maharashtra DSE CAP Round 1 2025 schedule for candidates included in the final merit list and aiming admission into Direct Second Year Engineering courses within the state. According to the official notification, the institute-wise and category-wise seat matrix for CAP Round 1 will be released on July 31. Following this, candidates must submit their online option form choices between August 1 to 3 via their login portal. While filling out their choices, candidates are advised to refer to the seat matrix and analyse last year’s cutoff trends to increase their chances of securing their preferred seat.

During the choice filling phase of Maharashtra DSE CAP Round 1 2025, candidates are allowed to select as many preferences as they wish, arranging them based on their order of priority. Once the choice filling process is completed, the authority will release the Provisional Allotment for the CAP Rounds. Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seat must confirm their acceptance by paying the seat acceptance fee through online mode. After that, they are required to report to the allotted institute for self-registration and submit the necessary documents to complete the admission process. If not satisfied with the allotted seat, wait for the next round of counselling.
