Manipal University admissions for Medical programmes 2016

The Manipal University (MU) has announced an admission notification, inviting interested and eligible candidates to apply for its Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and other medical courses for the academic year 2016.

The other courses include Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Health Information Administration (HIA), Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Renal Replacement Therapy & Dialysis Technology (RRT & DT), Cardiovascular Technology (CVT), Medical Imaging Technology (MIT), Medical Radiotherapy Technology (MRT), Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT), Nursing, Perfusion Technology (PT) and Respiratory Therapy (RT), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm), Master of Pharmacy (MPharm), Master of Chirurgical (MCh) and Master of Science (M.Sc) programmes.

MD and MS Programme: The candidates interested in applying for this programme must possess a MBBS degree from any university recognized by medical council of India.

BDS and MBBS Programme: The candidates interested in applying for this programme should have passed Class 12, A level, IB, American Grade 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English individually with a minimum of 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology taken together.

MDS Programme: The candidates interested in applying for this programme should possess a MBBS degree from any university recognized by medical council of India.

B.Sc Programmes: The candidates interested in applying for this programme must have passed Class 12, A Level, IB, American Grade 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology with a minimum of 45 percent marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and biology.

BPharm ProgramME: The candidates interested in applying for this programme should have passed in Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry and English with Mathematics or Biotechnology or Computer Science or Biology as optional subjects.

MPharm Programme: The candidates interested in applying for this programme should possess a degree in B.Pharmacy from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India with minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate.

An All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) 2016 will be conducted for the selection of the candidates. On the basis of the rank obtained in this exam, final selection will be made.
