The Andhra Pradesh State Skills Development Corporation in collaboration with Sasi Institute of Engineering, Wet Godavari conducted a mega Job Fair at college premises on 21 and 22-May-2016. The job fair was open for B.Tech/ B.A/ B.Com / B.Sc / BBA/ MBA / Intermediate/ B.Pharmacy pass outs of 2013-2016 academic years. A total number of 15 companies took part in thejob fair. The job fair commenced at 9.00 AM and continued till 6.00 PM. Despite of heavy rain a lot of candidates attended the interviews.
The mega job fair received a grand response as a total number of 1800 candidates from West Godavari District attended the interviews. Each company has conducted interviews according to their procedure. Out of 1800 candidates around 190 candidates secured jobs in the final rounds of interviews. The candidates are selected at the annual packages ranging from Rs. 1,50,000 to Rs. 3,50,000. The students were given offer letters by the officials of companies.
The APSSDC has organized job fairs in 8 districts of Andhra Pradesh in which a total number of 4,602 candidates secured jobs. The APSSDC is planning to organize two more job fairs in the month of June.
