State CET Cell, Maharashtra, will close the window to fill the CAP Round 2 Option Form 2025 today, August 8. Based on these submitted choices, the seat allotment will be released on August 11, 2025.
MHT CET CAP Round 2 Option Form 2025: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) will close the option form submission window for CAP Round 2 on August 8. Candidates who have registered but haven’t yet submitted their preferences are advised to log in to the official portal and lock their choices without delay. Before doing so, it is recommended that candidates review the Round 1 closing ranks and the vacant seat matrix to improve their chances of securing admission. Note that preferences submitted in earlier rounds will not carry over. Therefore, all registered candidates intending to participate in the CAP Round 2 seat allotment must submit a fresh list of preferences, selecting the maximum possible number of colleges and courses. Once the option form window closes, the seat allotment process will commence on August 11, 2025.

Candidates should note that with the closing of MHT CET CAP Round 2 Option Form 2025, the following stages will follow:
- Based on the choices filled and locked by the candidates till August 7, they will be considered for the seat allotment process for the vacant seats for Round 3.
- Round 2 seat allotment will be announced on August 11, through the official website for candidates to check through their login portal.
- Allotted candidates will have to report online from August 12 to August 14 by 3 PM either to accept or betterment the seat, and download the seat allotment letter.
- The freeze option chosen candidates will have to report to the allotted institute with documents and pay the admission fee to confirm their seats within the given period.
- While a betterment option selected candidates will have an opportunity to participate in the upcoming counselling rounds to get higher preferences.
