NEET UG 2026 Exam Date: The National Testing Agency released NEET UG 2026 Exam Date on February 8. As per the official schedule released by the conducting authorities, the examination will be conducted on May 3. The registration for the set examination commenced on February 8. After that, the correction portal will be activated, wherein candidates can make changes or fix the errors in the registration form, if any.

Candidates who are planning to appear for the NEET exam can check out the exam pattern here:

  • The mode of the exam is offline, meaning that candidates will have to appear for a pen-and-paper-based test.
  • The total duration of the exam is 3 hours and 20 minutes, giving candidates ample time to read, understand, and attempt all the questions.
  • The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), where candidates will have to choose the correct answer from the given options.
  • A total of 200 questions will be asked in the exam, covering a wide range of topics from the prescribed syllabus.
  • The total marks for the exam are 720, with each question carrying a specific weightage.
  • There will be negative marking in the exam, meaning that candidates will lose marks for incorrect answers.
  • The questions in the exam will be asked from three main subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, which are core subjects in the field of medical sciences.
